I grew up in Durand, Michigan and got into radio while in college at the University of Toledo. My first experience with radio was on our campus radio station 88.3 WXUT. I actually got into radio by accident. A good friend of mine told me he was applying for a part time job at the Oldies station in Toledo and told me I should apply too. I got the job, he didn’t. So I started working with 93.5 WQRN in 1996 and my first full time radio job came in 1998 with 104.1 WTQR in Greensboro, NC. In 2005 my parents as a birthday present took me on an Alaskan cruise and I fell in love with Alaska and even talked about how much I liked Anchorage. After finding myself without a full time job I spent a little over a year in Hawaii working with Norwegian Cruise Line in 2006 and then I came to Alaska in April of 2007 for a summer job in Juneau with Princess Tours. After the summer ended I stayed in Alaska and started working for Taku 105. I moved to Anchorage to be on The Wolf in June of 2009. In the summers you can hear me at the Public Address Announcer for the Anchorage Bucs Baseball Team the 2015 Alaska Baseball League Champions!
My favorite teams are The Detroit Red Wings, Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers and Toledo Rockets.
My favorite sport to play is volleyball, and you will find me playing all year in various leagues around Anchorage
My favorite restaurants are Tony Packos in Toledo, Ohio, The Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan and Pulliam’s Hot Dogs in Wintson-Salem, NC
