7:00PM 9:00PM Palmer FFA Benefit Concert The Future Farmers of America – Palmer Chapter will host a benefit concert June 22, 2013 at the MTA Event Center in Palmer. Wylie and the Wild West will perform, with all proceeds going directly to the Palmer FFA Chapter. Wylie Gustafson, lead singer for the band is the famous yodeler in the Yahoo! Commercials and he was also featured in the Dodge Ram “So God Made a Farmer” commercial that aired during the Super Bowl this year. The band features traditional Cowboy Country at its best. In this era of prepackaged superstars, of pale imitations of country music being pushed onto the public by faceless media giants, the music of Wylie & The Wild West is a beacon of truth and honest beauty. As one critic says, “Wylie Gustafson is the coolest cowpoke around. Forget everything you hate about modern country, this guy is old-school cool without being a tired period piece." GCI, Lithia Chrysler • Jeep • Dodge of South Anchorage, the City of Palmer, Representative Bill Stoltze, Out of a Jam Solutions and the Valley Hotel in Palmer sponsor the concert.
